Number of years as a Student Manager: 3 years
We asked Cody to answer a few questions regarding his experience as a Student Manager:
1. How is your student manager experience preparing you to be a future leader of sport?
My experience as a student manager is preparing me to be a leader in sports by showing me how to interact with people, good decision making skills, a good work ethic and teaching me leadership skills.
2. How did you become a Student Manager?
I found out about student managing on twitter the summer before my freshman year.
3. What has been the biggest adjustment to life as a student manager?
My biggest adjustment has been time management. I have quickly learned to how manage my time better because of class responsibilities and also all of the responsibilities that come with working for a football program.
4. Are you currently involved in any other activities, organizations, or service projects?
I currently serve on the leadership team at my church in Ruston and I have served on a few mission teams that have served in the Dominican Republic, Senegal, and Nicaragua.
