FundingManagers On A Mission is the go-to place for maximizing the impact of your used or excess apparel. Donations can be sent at anytime to:
Drew Boe Managers On A Mission 108 Walnut Street Taopi, MN 55977 MOAM’s primary donations are from professional and collegiate coaches. Through their respect and support of MOAM, we create a pool from which to pull our two organizational needs: referred student managers and excess/left-over clothing and apparel. Supporting Student Managers Every coach in every college sport relies on student managers in order to succeed in coaching, just as every professional sports team relies on college interns to make everything run smoothly behind the scenes. When these interns and student managers are doing their job well, it’s something the coach certainly notices. Often these intern and student management positions are unpaid, so what better way to repay someone who’s over performing on a daily basis than nominating them for an MOAM funded program? Donate Excess Items Likewise, the coaches and staff at both the collegiate and professional levels are the ones given the most clothing and apparel from sponsors every season. When they move on to another team they are left with most of the apparel as excess items never to be worn again. A majority of coaches and staff in this position just donate the items to a thrift store and move on. MOAM advises these people that their excess items have value beyond the clothing racks at your local thrift store, and can be utilized to fund MOAM's programs developing future generations of coaches and staff, while also helping the world through missionary work and God’s word. Clean Out For A Cause
MOAM also collects donations year round through our Clean Out For A Cause Donation Program. This program gathers items from coaches throughout the country by sending Donation Collection boxes to select teams to place in their coaches locker rooms. Coaches are encouraged to donate any unwanted apparel into the box, before they are returned to MOAM by the teams Equipment Director. For more information regarding this process, please see the Equipment Managers section of our How To Help Page. Simple Process MOAM provides a service that is as simple as donating to a thrift store, while being far more rewarding. We truly maximize the utilization of these donated items through turning these in-kind donations into cash. All items are sold via MOAM's online eBay Giving Works Auction site where the listings make it very clear that 100% of every sale supports MOAM (eBay, n.d.).
